Sixteen interesting cracked textures, from the must- haves to the rare and unexpected.
There’s something fascinatng about the destruction and deterioration of matter. Here’s a monster-sized pack of 16 textures that capture the fragile, fleeting nature of the physical world.
Complete zip-pack at the bottom. Enjoy.
You’re browsing in quick-glance gallery view — click the post permalink for a larger view of the textures and to download the full-size version of individual ones if you don’t want the whole pack.
First up, the vibrant craked blue paint of a warehouse back door.
More industrial-turned-artsy sightings: the cracked yellow coat of a sidewalk curb.
Another road-inspired texture, but on the off-roading side this time: tire treads in the Arizona desert.
Speaking of streets and cars, a classic cracks must-have: pavement, with a rained-on twist.
I got some odd looks shooting this one — the cracked leather on an old gym bench, eerily lit by the artificial indoor light on one side and clear daylight coming from the window on the other.
You may recall these from the Woody Goody issue, but they fit nicely with today’s theme — cracked wood is an absolute classic.
Finally, after cut-down trees, an even grimmer glimpse of nature’s death: the cracked soil on the bottom of a dried-up lake in Eastern Europe.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy. Be sure to grab our RSS feed and get fresh textures as soon as they’re up. And, comment away with raves, rants, thoughts, wish-lists, or just to say “Hey”.Download the pack: TextureWell Cracks

Hey Justin,
Glad to help. I just added a link to Leafy Designz in my blogroll. Not sure how much help that would be, but it’s the most I can do in my feeble start-up stage, ha.
Rock on.
