First, the edge — where the skin meets the moist inside — is so amazingly rich in vivid natural color and contrast. Bonus points for the gorgeous condensation droplets:
Okay, so this isn’t really pumkin. But melon is from the pumkin family, and this is my all-time favorite texture (which you may recall from the very popular Organic Matter texture pack a while ago), so I can’t help throwing it in:
